I was surprised to hear of my uncle's passing. Somehow it did not get passed down to all family members.
I really loved my Uncle Gene. He was the sweetest and most kindest person. I loved him showing us his favorite rocks he had found or was working on. The last time I saw him was when my husband and I stayed with Uncle Gene and Aunt Joann in Medical Lake WA shortly before they moved to Vancouver. I truly miss seeing them both since they have moved. I am saddened to know that I will not get to visit Uncle Gene again, but I am happy he is in heaven with our Lord. Rest in Peace Uncle Gene and know that I loved you.
