Allan was a delight in Sunday School class--full and overflowing with interesting
and valuable contributions. He often spiced a general point we were discussing
with a personal experience that added flavor and specifics to our points. He was
a dedicated, determined, and dependable man--and servant. He also loved his
family and often spoke of his cherished Mennonite and Nazarene backgrounds.

When I first moved to Portland to start what would eventually become Eden Community Church, Allan was one of the first to come up to me and offer words of encouragement. He attended some of the sessions I held just so he could be an encouragement. I appreciated hearing about how God had used him in prison ministry and heard his heart for others in the stories he shared with me. He will be missed by many. May God bless you all as you trust in Christ's love.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Jason Veach
