At such a sorrowful time as this - words cannot fill the loss or lessen the pain. So sorry for the loss of one so dear. My deepest condolences to Joyce's family and may the love and concern of family and friends help to give you strength during this most difficult time. Draw comfort from these words, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you. I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness."(Isaiah 41:10) Turn to God in prayer, for he is the source of true comfort, the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulations, because he cares for us. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4 & 1 Peter 5:7)
