Please share a memory of Valorie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Valorie Hope Randle Ridgefield, Washington July 6, 1990 ~ November 29, 2020 Valorie Hope Randle, 30, of Ridgefield, WA, stepped out of this world and into Paradise on November 29, 2020, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She fought a three-year battle with cancer, facing each treatment with courage and optimism and even a little humor. She always put on a brave front, downplaying the pain and anxiety that she kept mostly to herself. She was truly a woman of valor. Born in Gillette, Wyoming, to Rosemary (Aliotta) Chambers and Robert Cecil Randle on July 6, 1990, Valorie attended school in Tennessee, graduating from Station Camp High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee. After moving to Arizona, she attended Estrella Mountain Community College where she studied art. She then received her Bachelor's Degree in Film from Portland University, Portland, OR. She also studied at Clark College, Vancouver, WA. Her jobs included Wendy's, pizza delivery for Papa John's, and Clark College bookstore. She was hoping to obtain a Medical Certificate to work in a doctor's office or hospital, but cancer kept her from achieving that goal. Valorie dearly loved her family and treasured her friends. She kept nearly every card and letter she got from them over the years. She was sweet, kind, and silly and faced life with a sense of wonder, curiosity, humor, and fun. She had a thirst for knowledge about the world and different cultures and she had a great love for nature. Children and animals tended to warm up to her quickly, because of her playful, childlike spirit. She was compassionate and thoughtful, always thinking of others before herself and willing to lend a helping hand and offer comfort to anyone in need. She loved to talk to anyone and everyone and was genuinely interested in them all. Though disagreements come to any relationship, she never held a grudge against those she loved. Valorie found enjoyment in creating beautiful, intricate crafts for herself and her loved ones. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she always gave something, usually handmade or thoughtfully picked out, to her family and friends. She liked to spend her time listening to different music, gaming, watching movies, and reading. Camping, traveling, and hanging out with friends made her happy. She enjoyed trying different hairstyles and wigs and designing costumes to attend cosplay events. Valorie is survived by her parents, her maternal grandmother, Eunice Aliotta, her sister, Robin Brooke Koehler, her brother-in-law, Doug Koehler, her sister, Jolene Rose Keen, her brother-in-law, Jesse Keen, stepmother, Janie Randle, four nieces, Gwenna, Emma, Mia, and Chloe Koehler, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also leaves behind her best friend, Cesar Ramos, who cared for her during her illness and brought her much joy and comfort. Valorie is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Naomi Randle, her maternal grandfather, Ferdinand Aliotta, her aunt Barbara (Aliotta) Wojcik, her uncle Vincent Aliotta, and her uncle Donald Randle.
